State Street is seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our Investment Book of Records (IBOR) Development Team. We are looking for a motivated technology professional with strong COBOL development experience and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with senior developers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to support and enhance critical business applications.

What you will be responsible for
As a Software Developer, you will:
Design, develop, test, and maintain in-house IBOR applications.
Support and enhance existing COBOL-based applications and business functionality.
Participate in application analysis, coding, testing, and implementation activities.
Work closely with senior developers and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues.
Perform code reviews and adhere to established development standards and best practices.
Participate in system integration, testing, and deployment activities.
Contribute to application performance improvements and operational stability initiatives.
Support Agile development processes and project delivery activities.
Prepare technical documentation and maintain development artifacts.

Work Requirement
Onsite 4 days a week in office and one day remote
Standard business hours aligned to project and stakeholder needs(8am to 5pm)
Salary Range:
$75,000 - $123,750 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the location above, the applicable range could differ.
