Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and skilled .NET Developer to join our Engineering team in the Naraina, Delhi Office. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable web applications and high-performance Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
You will join a collaborative engineering team dedicated to building secure, scalable software solutions and optimizing backend architectures across modern database environments.
What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:
Design and Develop Scalable Web Applications: Build and maintain high-performing Web Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and backend services using .NET Core and C# while maintaining database performance across Structured Query Language (SQL) Server and PostgreSQL environments.
Collaborate Across Engineering Teams: Partner with senior developers, front-end engineers, and cross-functional Agile project teams during daily stand-ups and code reviews to integrate software components securely and effectively.
Ensure Compliance and Code Quality: Adhere to Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) best practices, Single Responsibility, Open/Closed, Liskov Substitution, Interface Segregation, and Dependency Inversion (SOLID) principles, and secure coding standards to optimize application reliability and resolve production bottlenecks.
The ideal candidate will have:
1 to 3 years of hands-on professional software development experience.
Strong knowledge of C#, modern .NET Core frameworks, Representational State Transfer (RESTful) Application Programming Interface (API) design, Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs) such as Entity Framework Core or Dapper, and relational databases like SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
Proven ability in analytical problem-solving, application performance debugging, cross-functional communication, and source code management using Git.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical industry experience.
