The Work You’ll Do:

The Software Developer can leverage technology to solve difficult problems at scale, taking into consideration aspects like security, performance, reliability, and maintainability. This role challenges the individual to adapt quickly and work effectively, sharing technical knowledge to build and deploy high quality software that satisfies our customers.

More specifically you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET / React software solutions across multiple projects.
• Work with Kubernetes to deliver features to production environments.
• Support APIs and services in production, development, and test environments
• Be a member of an experienced scrum team working within Jira, Git and Confluence.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Architects and Business Analysts to refine requirements and designs
• Deploy, monitor and maintain cloud-based applications and services
• Participate on cross functional teams to deliver solutions from the point of inception through customer delivery
• Seize opportunities to improve processes, standards and practices
• Work as a team member and with more senior developers on complex stories & tasks
• Develop software consistent with Sovos coding standards & conventions
• Collaborate in a fast-paced agile environment under tight deadlines to “ship” new releases each sprint
• Take part in an active culture of learning by exploring new technologies and participating in knowledge sharing

What We Need From You:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of successfully working in a team-oriented development organization
• Advanced English skills are required (written and verbal)
• In addition to have a good knowledge about .NET frameworks, you have deep knowledge in some, or all these areas:
  • SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Redis
  • Deployment pipelines
  • Message queue mechanisms
  • Web Services (SOAP, REST)
  • JSON/XML
  • JavaScript / Node.JS
  • Experience and understanding of CI/CD principles
  • Test automation
  • Git
  • Containerazation (Docker)
