Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Developer II to join our team in the DMV area. We have opportunities in the Washington, DC area as well as Northern Virginia and Maryland. If you are looking for an opportunity in any of those locations, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supports the design, engineering, analysis, and development of software systems
• Assist in designing, analyzing, and developing software delivery processes, including development and operations (DevOps) pipelines
• Support modeling and analyzing software development and deployment processes as well as development of Agile processes, plans, and architectures to support software development, analysis, and operations
• Takes direction from more senior personnel. They partner and actively contribute with other Software Developer IIs

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in an IT, Business, Engineering, Math, Science, or related field
• Two or more (2+) years of related experience
• Hold one of the following certifications within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order:
  • CCNA-Security
  • CySA+
  • GICSP
  • GSEC
  • Security+ CE
  • CND
  • SSCP
• If a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are required
• If a candidate holds an Associates degree rather than a Bachelors degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Development or related discipline
• Experience in an Agile development environment
• Relevant industry standard certifications

Clearance Requirements:

• This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
• Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

The projected compensation range for this position is $87,200-$146,400. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it's employees beyond just compensation.
