• Ensure high code quality, performance, and security.

• Promote best practices in design patterns, testing, and code optimization.

• Troubleshoot issues to enhance platform reliability.

• Develop scalable, high-performance solutions for new modules and APIs.

• Design efficient data structures and integrate with various data sources.

• Drive architectural best practices for long-term platform sustainability.

• Support DevOps in CI/CD, environment management, and automation.

• Contribute to platform planning and ensure technical solutions meet business needs.

• Participate in sprint planning, assess task priorities, and manage technical debt effectively.

Requirements

Experience and Technical Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on PHP (ideally with frameworks like Symfony or Laravel).

• 5+ years of backend development experience with PHP (Symfony, Laravel)

• Proven expertise in designing and building scalable, reliable APIs and data processing services for large data platforms.

• Strong understanding of database management and data modeling (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, or other relevant databases), with experience in optimizing queries and handling large datasets.

• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of design patterns, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and best practices for efficient code structuring and data flow management.

• Experience with microservices architecture.

Quality and Security Focus:

• Demonstrated commitment to code quality (unit tests, integration tests) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines to maintain high development standards.

• Strong understanding of security best practices in API development, authentication, data encryption, and handling sensitive information.

Collaborative and Communication Skills:

• Experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with data engineers, product managers, and front-end developers to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

• Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in data processing and backend architecture.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to document processes, participate in architectural discussions, and mentor junior team members.
