Software Developer (Avaloq)

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and enhance Avaloq components using Avaloq Script and Oracle SQL / PL-SQL
• Support regulatory initiatives (e.g. CRS, SST, Basel III, ACCIF, CCRIS) and business enhancements
• Perform technical impact analysis and ensure solutions align with CIMB standards and architecture
• Provide Level 2 / Level 3 application support for Avaloq, including investigation of data, batch, and interface issues
• Support SIT, UAT, production deployment, and post-implementation validation
• Work closely with external vendors, including Avaloq principal and implementation partners, to review solutions, fixes, and deliverables
• Act as CIMB IT representative to validate vendor recommendations and ensure quality and compliance
• Participate in change management, RFC preparation, and CAB deployment activities
• Support on site activities as required during workshops, testing, deployment, and critical support periods

Competencies and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent 
• Avaloq certification
• Minimum 3–8 years of hands-on Avaloq development experience
• Experience supporting Private Banking / Wealth Management systems
• Exposure to regulatory or compliance-driven banking initiatives
• Experience working in a regulated banking environment is preferred
• Strong hands-on experience in:
• Avaloq Script
• Oracle SQL / PL-SQL
• Avaloq data model and batch processing
