Analytica, LLC is searching for a qualified candidate to fill the role of Software Developer - Applications. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to create secure, scalable and innovative applications that support healthcare analytics and clinical decision-making for federal stakeholders. The position will be onsite at Falls Church, VA or San Antonio, TX, with remote work options as approved.
Duties:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy web-based and enterprise-level applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Collaborate with product owners, analysts, and clinical SMEs to translate functional requirements into software solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with an emphasis on security, performance, and scalability.
- Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Integrate APIs and data sources to enable seamless data flow between applications and external systems.
- Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.
- Maintain documentation of system architecture, design decisions, and deployment procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, including web and enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or equivalent.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue) and back-end development (e.g., Node.js, .NET, Spring).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and federal IT security standards.
- Knowledge of federal healthcare systems (VA, DHA, DoD)
- US. Citizen
- Must hold a Secret Clearance
