The Application Security team mission is to ensure that Robinhood's applications and production environments are built and operated with the highest standards of security, enabling a safer, scalable, and resilient platform for all users. By proactively identifying vulnerabilities, managing risks, and empowering the engineering community with effective security platforms, we drive robust application and production security practices across the organization.

What you’ll do- Build scalable systems and components, making the right tradeoffs to account for stability and long-term maintainability.
- Design, write, test, and release critical technical solutions with high engineering rigor.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams and deliver large-scope technical quality projects
- Mentor junior developers on the team and lead project of large complexity
- Find opportunities to improve system performance, team efficiency, and minimize risks
- 3+ years of software developer experience with knowledge on building large scale distributed systems & infrastructure.
- You have a track record of successfully collaborating with cross-functional teams and delivering large-scope technical projects, setting a high standard for code quality and code review processes
- You deeply understand the design, product, and backend development disciplines so that you can work effectively with them
- Experience with Go or Python
- Experience with AWS or relevant cloud technologies.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan.
