We’re looking for a highly skilled Platform / SRE Engineer to help scale and strengthen our Kubernetes-based production environment. In this role, you’ll take ownership of platform reliability, performance, and observability while working hands-on across Kubernetes, GCP, Terraform, and modern infrastructure automation. You’ll collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams to influence architecture decisions, solve complex performance challenges, and design resilient, scalable systems that support our growing platform. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in technical problem-solving, cares deeply about operational excellence, and enjoys building platforms that engineers love to use.
Responsibilities:
● Maintain and extend our Kubernetes platform
● Improve Performance & Reliability of our production platform
● Ensure proper observability of the production systems
● Assist with database and service performance tuning
● Collaborate with Development Engineers on impacts of new features
● Identify architecture bottlenecks and work with Engineering on new solutions
● Collaborate with Support on operational runbooks
Requirements:
● Minimum 3+ years Kubernetes
● Operating System: Linux
● GCP Cloud experience is mandatory, good to have multi-cloud experience.
● Terraform
● Container lifecycle
● Programming Go, Python or similar
● Database optimization
● Network level troubleshooting
Education and Experience:
• At least 6 - 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 1 year experience; or equivalent experience preferred.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
