Job Summary
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer I with experience in Go (Golang) and familiarity with modern web frameworks such as React or Angular. This role is ideal for an engineer passionate about building scalable backend services and contributing to engaging web and mobile experiences.
As an SDE I, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain backend APIs and web application that power our customer-facing products.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Go (Golang).
- Collaborate with frontend developers to build responsive and dynamic web applications using React or Angular.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Assist in system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Identify, diagnose, and fix bugs or performance issues in backend services and web applications.
- Work with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and caching systems to optimize data access and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with peers to improve the overall codebase quality.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies in backend and frontend development.
- Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive engineering culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in full-stack development or backend.
- Working knowledge of React or Angular for building web interfaces.
- Exposure to Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) for shared business logic or cross-platform module development.
- Proficiency in Go (Golang) for API or microservices development.
- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI).
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Passion for mobile development and a desire to learn and grow.

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $83,538.00 - $137,241.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
