Experience Level
This role is ideal for engineers with 3+ years of experience who are passionate about building high-quality software using modern Java technologies and Angular.
As a Software Craftsperson (SC-II), you'll work in product teams that take full ownership—from design and development to deployment—following eXtreme Programming (XP) practices such as pair programming, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and test-first development.
- Own feature-level design, delivery, and quality across backend and frontend applications.
- Build reliable, maintainable, and testable software using clean code principles and disciplined engineering practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Work in an AI-native development model by leveraging AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining engineering quality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by mentoring peers and refining engineering practices.
- Participate in modern development workflows including CI/CD and collaborative software development.
RequirementsWhat You'll Bring
Backend – Java
- 3+ years of Java development with strong fundamentals.
- Experience with Micronaut or Spring frameworks.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design principles, and design patterns.
- Good knowledge of Java Collections and Multithreading.
- Experience with Hibernate ORM.
- Familiarity with build tools such as Gradle or Maven.
- Experience writing unit tests using JUnit.
- Hands-on experience building scalable applications using Angular and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of Angular fundamentals including:

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working with relational databases.
- Experience debugging and performance tuning applications.

- RxJS for reactive programming in Angular.

You'll be expected to embrace AI as an integral part of the development workflow by:
- Leveraging AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Augment, and Claude Code to accelerate software development.
- Using AI to identify potential bugs, code smells, and performance issues early in the development lifecycle.
- Applying prompt engineering techniques to improve AI-assisted development.
- Evaluating AI-generated code for correctness, performance, maintainability, and security.
- Continuously exploring and adopting emerging AI-powered tools and engineering workflows.
