Roles and Responsibilities
- Works directly with the Electrification Compliance Leader, GE Vernova ABAC Leader, Ombuds Leader, Commercial and Operations leadership, TPRM leadership, and other stakeholders including Software/Grid Automation General Counsel to drive compliance program execution across Software and Channel Partners globally.
- Manage and enhance core compliance programs across Software including risk assessment; socializing policies and procedures; training; communication; monitoring and reporting. Closely aligned to GEV HQ Program, Open Reporting, Segment pillars, and ABAC program principles.
- Provide legal and compliance oversight on third-party engagements including (i) customer and channel partner compliance; (ii) business and government courtesy expenses; (iii) export controls; and (iv) channel partner onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring under GE Vernova’s TPRM and ABAC standards.
- Support and coordinate compliance initiatives across all Software business units and functions including compliance with cyber security, privacy, fair competition, and respectful workplace standards.
- Lead the global Channel Partners Compliance Program for Electrification and GE Vernova, establishing and maintaining the program framework, policies, procedures, and operational playbook for channel partner compliance in alignment with GE Vernova ABAC program principles and Enterprise Standards.
- Coordinate the execution of the Channel Partners compliance program across Electrification business units and GE Vernova segments, working in close partnership with Commercial leadership, Operations leadership, and TPRM leadership to ensure consistent application of ABAC program requirements to all channel partner relationships globally.
- Design and implement risk-based due diligence, onboarding, monitoring, and renewal processes for channel partners for GE Vernova, ensuring alignment with TPRM program standards and ABAC requirements, including commission payment controls and proof-of-service validation.
- Establish and maintain channel partner compliance KPIs, monitoring metrics, and reporting dashboards to track program effectiveness, risk trends, and remediation progress.
- Develop and deliver channel partner compliance training and awareness programs for GEV Commercial, Operations, and compliance teams globally, ensuring understanding of ABAC requirements, red flags, escalation protocols, and channel partner risk indicators.
- Serve as the subject matter expert and central point of coordination for channel partner compliance matters across Electrification and GE Vernova, advising on complex channel partner transactions, escalations, remediation actions, and program enhancements in partnership with the GE Vernova ABAC and TPRM teams.
- Support independent investigations, as well as managing and/or overseeing others conducting investigations, including:
- Assist prompt, thorough, and objective investigations into alleged violations of law or company policy.
- Partner with Ombuds/Open Reporting and other functions to identify and understand trends; analyze and report out on such trends and thereby enable the organization to respond in a timely and proactive manner.
- Know and understand all applicable legal and policy requirements pertaining to the conduct of investigations including in areas involving employee interviews, data privacy, labor and employment requirements, and more; monitor changes in such laws and policies and provide guidance to colleagues with respect to such changes.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years’ experience in Compliance, law, multinational and corporate legal experience preferably with a background in investigations, anti-corruption/ABAC, third-party risk management, channel partner compliance, cyber-security, regulatory, or international trade compliance.
- At least 3 years of experience advising software, technology, digital, or industrial businesses in the compliance or legal function, with demonstrated exposure to channel partner, distributor, or agent compliance programs.
- Working knowledge of anti-corruption laws and frameworks (FCPA, UK Bribery Act), third-party risk management principles, and channel partner compliance best practices in a multinational environment.
Desired Characteristics
- JD is a plus; coupled with license to practice by the applicable state Bar Association.
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence and coordinate Commercial, Operations, Compliance, and Legal functions globally.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects across multiple business units and geographies.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
- Deep understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, GE Vernova’s ABAC program, TPRM standards, Enterprise Compliance Standards, and channel partner compliance requirements.
- Experience working with or managing channel partner, distributor, or agent compliance programs in a multinational industrial or technology environment is strongly preferred.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $127,500.00 and $212,500.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
