The Role

Location: Pinch A Penny Headquarters - 6385 150th Ave N., Clearwater, FL 33760 (hybrid)

Pay: Up to $88,000 annually (base salary of $60,000 plus monthly commission if all targets are met)

What to Expect?

As a Software Business Development Specialist, you will become a vital force in revolutionizing the pool industry across multiple lines of business through our cutting-edge software platforms. You will work directly with owners and operators of retail, service, construction, and other businesses to help tailor software solutions supporting their needs.

On a daily basis our Business Development Specialist:

  • Proactively engages with business owners and operators, passionately communicates the value of our platforms to elevate their pool management processes.

  • Conducts discovery calls and meetings, attentively listens to client needs, and delivers compelling web-based demonstrations showcasing the prowess of our software.

  • Adheres to dynamic activity metrics, incorporating calls, emails, and on-site visits to pool facilities.

  • Identifies and targets potential clients, generating leads through market research, networking, and personal initiatives.

  • Exceeds sales quotas and targets with strategic planning and implementation.

  • Showcases product features and benefits through impactful demonstrations.

  • Develops and nurtures relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their unique business objectives.

  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

  • Previous sales experience, ideally in pool, construction, HVAC, software, or home service industries.

  • Previous CRM systems experience, especially in a sales context (preferred).

  • Ability to grasp industry-specific challenges and trends.

  • Willingness to travel to client locations, industry shows, and other sales events.

  • Proactive and driven to surpass sales targets.

  • Comfortable with both inside and outside sales activities.

  • Strong customer service orientation with relationship-building expertise.

  • Clear communication of technical information.

  • To be 21 years of age or older to apply.
