About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Software Architect for our next generation products infrastructure. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and leadership. You will drive architectural excellence, ensure alignment with business goals, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.

You'll lead complex, cross-organization common solutions across multiple systems and teams, while staying close to the code and ensuring decisions are grounded in real-world implementation.

You'll partner with senior engineers, architects and product across domains to solve high-impact problems and align the organization around key architectural principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architectural Vision: Define and communicate the architectural vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and future business needs.
  • Big Picture & Deep Dive: Maintain a holistic view of the system architecture while being able to deep dive into technical details when necessary to resolve complex issues or guide the team.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, field, and system engineers) to understand requirements, challenge assumptions, and deliver breakthrough solutions.
  • Technical Excellence: Oversee the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and maintainable software architectures. Guide technology selection, evaluation, and integration of open-source/commercial solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Lead technical processes such as code/design reviews, technical debt management, and innovation backlog. Establish and promote best practices in software development and DevOps.
  • Roadmap & Standards: Establish architectural roadmaps, standards, and patterns. Ensure consistent application across projects and teams.
  • Hands-On Leadership: Remain hands-on as needed, supporting teams in troubleshooting, prototyping, and complex problem-solving.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Educate and guide the team and broader organization.
Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 7 years in hands-on development (Java, C#, Python, or similar) and 5+ years as architect/tech lead.
  • Deep knowledge of software architecture principles, including security, scalability, maintainability, and volatility.
  • Experience deploying production-grade solutions in both cloud and non-cloud environments.
  • Strong background in integrating open-source and commercial solutions into holistic architectures.
  • Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and CI/CD processes.
  • Experience with data management, analytics, or big data systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and develop technical talent.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with machine learning, big data, or deep learning solution deployment (not algorithm development).
  • Experience with distributed systems, containers, and cloud technologies.
  • Hands-on experience in leveraging Generative AI (GenAI) coding agents for software development tasks and/or developing applications leveraging GenAI.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to articulate technical and business value.
