Position Overview
As a Staff(/Lead) Architect for Agentic AI Platform Architecture, you will lead the design and development of Tricentis' innovative AI platform that will empower Testim, Tosca, NeoLoad, and qTest products. You will work with technology and product leaders across Tricentis to establish the architectural foundation for our autonomous AI agents in the QA testing space.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Strategy & Architecture:
- Define the architectural vision for Tricentis' agentic AI platform supporting our core product suite
- Design scalable, modular frameworks for implementing AI agents across different testing domains
- Establish patterns and standards for agent interaction, orchestration, and evaluation
- Create architectural blueprints for unstructured data access (Vector DBs, Reranking, Knowledge Graphing, GraphRAG)
- Define integration approaches between the AI platform and Tricentis products
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with product teams to identify business problems solvable with agentic AI solutions
- Mentor engineering teams on AI implementation best practices and architectural patterns
- Review proposed technical approaches and provide constructive feedback
- Partner with data science teams to define model training requirements
- Communicate AI architectural decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Applied Research & Innovation:
- Monitor emerging technologies in the AI agent space (AutoGen, LangGraph, Crew.AI)
- Develop evaluation frameworks to measure agent effectiveness and performance
- Implement AI safety and responsible development practices into the architecture
- Create architectural patterns that enhance testability and transparency of AI models
- Bridge research innovations with practical implementation approaches
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
- 7+ years of software architecture experience
- 3+ years of experience with generative AI.
- Deep understanding of language model architectures and their application
- Experience with agent frameworks and orchestration systems
- Strong knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks
- Proficiency in Python for AI/ML implementation
Cloud & Production Experience:
- Experience designing AI systems for cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, SAP BTP)
- Familiarity with vector databases and embedding technologies
- Understanding of distributed tracing and observability for AI systems
- Experience with containerized environments and microservices architectures
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards for AI applications
Domain Knowledge:
- Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and approaches
- Experience with software quality assurance processes
- Knowledge of performance testing concepts is a plus
