  • Leading the evolution of a modern Linux-based Java microservices ecosystem and the integration architecture for government, commercial, and customer-specific systems
  • Architecting deployment patterns for multiple node types across constrained edge environments and centralized/cloud-heavy environments
  • Overseeing architecture for peripheral and device services and ensuring the platform remains observable, supportable, and maintainable across all deployments

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • 15+ years of software engineering experience, including architecture leadership of distributed or mission‑critical systems

  • Strong experience with core platform technologies such as MongoDB, Elasticsearch/Logstash, RabbitMQ, and service discovery/orchestration/secrets tooling (Consul, Nomad, Vault, Kubernetes, or similar)
  • Occasional project travel may be required, about 10%.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Active Polygraph is a plus
  • Experience with Vue.js 3 and modern frontend architecture for administrative/operational interfaces
  • Experience designing hybrid cloud and edge deployment patterns
  • Experience integrating with standards-based government, identity, travel, or partner ecosystems
  • Experience architecting systems with zero/low downtime upgrade paths or event replay/offline-sync patterns
