- Lead technical decision-making across projects and ensure alignment with long-term business goals.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Define and enforce best practices, coding standards, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Review code and provide mentorship to engineering teams.
- Optimize application performance and scalability on the AWS cloud platform.
- Ensure security and compliance standards are integrated into all stages of development.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and approaches to enhance development efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in software development.
- 3+ years of experience in an architect or senior technical leadership role.
- Solid knowledge of microservices, API design, and system integration.
- AWS (experience with typical containerized app deployments and data lakes)
- Python (pandas, pyspark - nice to have)
- Good experience (i.g. performance tuning, application profiling) with 1-2 additional popular tech stacks (e.g Java, Go, R&R)
- RDBMS (schema design, SQL query tuning and profiling)
- System design experience (be able to choose tech stack, storages, architecture and explain why)
- Solution design experience (be able to propose implementation plan, releases, milestones and manage the scope)
- Requirements gathering, clarification and scope estimation
