Software Architect (f/m/d)

At Dennemeyer Technology, our mission is to provide the next generation Intellectual Property Management Software (IPMS) to our customers that connect and extend our #onedennemeyer tech ecosystem.

Our goal is to make our standardized platform services, including the Group's backbone payment processing technology, available to other business units of Dennemeyer and embed them in our software products.

As part of our Dennemeyer Technology business unit, you coach a team of developers to create newest SaaS application and lead the development of shared components and services. Your responsibilities: Coach, lead and manage the development team, lead projects from the technical side. Designing and providing future-proof solutions using latest container technologies to develop new micro services, in line with the company’s strategic goals:  #ondennemeyer tech eco-system. You will work closely together with the enterprise architect, product managers and other development teams to ensure stakeholder satisfaction, and that quality goals are met.

• Be accountable for the software architecture of our next generation SaaS IPMS software, and share services components
• Work directly with our product management team, and our engineering teams to collect, analyze, and prioritize business and technical requirements and define the best solution.  
• Develop high-level architectural blueprints and detailed specifications as part of the Enterprise Architecture team to guide the creation of robust software.
• Contribute to company-wide standards in regards to SDLC
• Participate and provide technical leadership in all phases of a project from discovery and planning through implementation and delivery
• Design and architecting future-proof solutions to meet product requirements
• Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document
• Applying best practices and ensure that quality, technical and security standards are met
• Collaborate with developers to ensure best product
• Code, troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and secure functionality
• Ensure optimal and transparent communication across multiple teams involved in the product’s lifecycle
• Establish work necessary for a complete product; break work down into discrete tasks and deliverables
• Work with IT infrastructure teams to securely deploy, automate and maintain applications
• Mentor technical leaders and engineers with Azure Cloud practices and hybrid cloud. You will help our team to create our cloud product or ensure that we can communicate with on-premise systems if necessary
• Sustain performance and availability of production systems in the Azure cloud infrastructure to achieve optimal uptime
• When doing so, you take into account dimensions like business and technical constraints, configuration management, secret management, version management, release management, observability, tracing, monitoring and visualization
• Bring your experience and your ideas to improve our software architecture and cloud architecture

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field
• At least 5 years working experience setting up enterprise solutions as Software Architect, Solution Architect, Cloud Solutions Architect or similar role
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is considered as an asset
• Knowledge of systems engineering concepts and designs: networking, proxies, WAF, DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancing, SSL, mTLS, CA, backups, disaster recovery, etc.
• Be passionate about software design and architecture
• Excellent knowledge about OOA/OOD, Micro Services, DDD, CQRS, TDD, SOLID
• Profound knowledge in docker and kubernetes
• Excellent knowledge of the .NET technology stack
• Experience in using AI in software products and development processes
• Good knowledge about SQL
• Knowledge of No-SQL databases is considered a plus
• Knowledge of front-end technologies is considered a plus
• An entrepreneurial, customer centric and agile mindset
• Proven track record of leading and coaching development teams
• Proven experience in agile software development practices like Scrum
• Familiarity with the Intellectual Property industry is considered an asset
• Self-organized and creative team player with excellent communication skills and willingness to learn
• Excellent time management, self-organized, problem-solving and attention to detail
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; German and/or French is considered an asset
• Other certifications: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate Microsoft, Azure Network Engineer Associate, Azure Database Administrator Associate, is considered as an asset
