We're on the look out for dynamic, experienced tech enthusiasts to join our growing R&D - Data & Analytics team. 

We are doing a greenfield project to build a cutting-edge multi-tenant data platform with open-source big data technologies. This role is primarily for the team building this platform.

As a Software Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and guiding the development of scalable, high-quality enterprise software. You will be responsible for defining architectural standards, ensuring system reliability, and driving best practices in software engineering. A strong foundation in microservices architecture and enterprise software development is essential, while exposure to big data technologies will be a significant advantage.

We are looking for a strategic thinker and hands-on technical leader who can work closely with engineering teams to design and implement robust, secure, and high-performance solutions. If you are proactive, take ownership, communicate effectively, and naturally share your knowledge with others, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design scalable, maintainable, and secure microservices-based solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams, ensuring best practices in software development, DevOps, and cloud-native architectures.
• Define and enforce enterprise-grade software development standards, focusing on security, performance, and maintainability.
• Drive high-quality software engineering practices, including test automation, CI/CD, and observability.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance software capabilities, with a preference for cloud-native and big data solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Mentor and coach engineers to build technical excellence within the team.
• Continuously research emerging technologies and apply them to improve product capabilities.

• Extensive experience in software architecture and enterprise application development.
• Expertise in microservices architecture, including API design, service orchestration, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong on software engineering concepts and design patterns like SOLID.
• Expertise in writing high-quality, testable, and maintainable software that meets enterprise standards.
• Knowledge of any of the big data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka, Iceberg, Hadoop) is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of Golang would be a strong advantage.
• Strong ability to critically evaluate and challenge technical decisions, propose innovative alternatives, and bridge gaps when requirements are ambiguous.
