WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

The Product Area Alternatives is seeking a Software Architect to help shape the technical direction of our alternative investment solutions. This role is part of the ongoing evolution of our architecture organization, where architects stay close to the product area, work hands-on with engineering teams, and contribute to long-term architectural strategy.

We encourage developers and tech leads with the right experience and mindset to apply, even if they have not previously held an architect title.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Designing and guiding scalable, secure, and maintainable software architectures for the Alternatives product area
  • Collaborating with engineering and product teams to define long‑term architectural direction and support feature preparation
  • Promoting best practices for development, integration, deployment, and testing
  • Providing technical leadership and coaching to tech leads and engineers
  • Participating in architecture governance structures (Architect Assembly, TCCs)
  • Contributing to cross‑vertical coordination with engineering leadership and technical leaders
  • Promoting the adoption of new technologies and methodologies
  • Troubleshooting complex technical challenges and ensuring reliable system performance
  • Leading architectural design and reviews for Alternatives capabilities
  • Offering hands‑on support during implementation
  • Coaching and mentoring to improve engineering and architectural practices
  • Supporting cross‑vertical alignment and consistency
  • Helping define the architectural direction for Alternatives
