As a Software Application Development Engineer, you will play an integral role in developing innovative solutions that enhance user experiences and drive business success in the Sales Incentives domain. You will work alongside a dynamic and diverse team of engineers to design, deliver and maintain high-quality applications leveraging cutting-edge technologies to support Intel's Sales Compensation process. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful initiatives, including full-stack application development, automation, and advanced integrations, all while supporting Intel's growth and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Full-Stack Programming: A versatile full stack developer capable of wearing multiple hats - seamlessly performing as an Analyst, Developer, and QA - to drive end to end solution delivery for sales incentives processes, with ownership and accountability.
• Platform Expertise: Work extensively with Salesforce, Varicent ICM, Varicent ELT (or an equivalent Sales Incentives tool) and Python-based solutions.
• System Integration: Build and maintain complex integrations between Sales Compensation platforms and business systems.
• Global Collaboration: Work closely with teams across different time zones with flexible working hours.
• Technical Leadership: Serve as a key technical contributor and mentor within the Sales Incentives domain.
• Agile Participation: Actively participate in agile development processes, working closely with Product Management and Development teams.
• Quality: Own end-to-end quality, ensuring Definition of Done, acceptance criteria validation, and robust testing (unit, functional, regression) are consistently met.
• Continuous Learning: Stay current with emerging technologies and adapt to proprietary tools as business needs evolve.Qualifications:• Experience: 8-10 years of software development experience with at least 5+ years of relevant experience in Sales Incentives domain.
• Core Technical Skills:
o Good knowledge and understanding of Sales Incentives process, with implementation experience using at least one Sales Incentives tool (e.g.: Varicent ICM, Xactly, CaptivateIQ, Core Commissions etc.).
o Proficiency in Salesforce development (Apex, Lightning, APIs, configuration).
o GitHub Repo Management skills.
o Advanced Python programming skills.
• Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, self-starter, strong team player with hunger to learn.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively across global teams and time zones.
• Agile Experience: Understanding of agile development methodologies and practices.
• Integration Experience: API development and system integration expertise.
