Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Software Agile Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support the B-1B Software team in Tinker AFB, OK.
Our teams is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Lead and Experienced Software Agile Release Train Engineers (RTE).
The B-1 Software Systems Team works with the United States Air Force (USAF) Customer to support a multitude of software lifecycle related activities using agile methodologies with focused software changes related to controls and displays, weapons delivery, navigation, and communication systems.
Position Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and facilitates software program execution activities, including planning sessions, progress reviews, and retrospectives
- Collaborates with Product Owners, Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of program milestones
- Leads efforts to identify and address challenges that may impact program execution, providing guidance and support to teams
- Fosters a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the teams, promoting best practices and innovative solutions
- Tracks and reports on key performance metrics to stakeholders and leadership, ensuring transparency in program progress
- Mentors and coaches Scrum Masters, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance team capabilities
- Leads the design, development, analyses, and maintenance of software systems that meet industry, customer and internal quality, safety, security and certification standard
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security clearance Post-Start is required
- 5+ years' experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (including Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration & Test)
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Level 4: 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in coordination and facilitation of software program execution activities with product owners, scrum masters, and cross-functional teams to include: planning sessions, progress reviews, and retrospectives
- Experience in aircraft software development for defense systems
- Experience supporting requirements, development, and testing of software and hardware integration of bombers platforms or similar aerospace systems

Summary Pay Range for Lead level (Level 3): USD $109,650 - $148,350
Summary Pay Range for Senior level (Level 4): USD $137,700 - $186,300
