Overview
This position plays a pivotal role in the wider operations of the Agency’s Social Practice with communicating with strategists (not only social but also some digital capabilities) to align with the agency’s role & responsivities. Working daily with internal member and client partners in equal measure the Social Specialist is responsible for ensuring the day to day administration of Social work streams, including overseeing content development based on directions aligned with the Social Strategist and Creative Lead, managing content approvals with client partners, publishing materials, monitoring channel activity and engaging in community management / content moderation where needed.
Key Accountabilities
- Working with Strategist (connection planner or social strategist) to align with the social strategy.
- Working with Creative / Content teams for creation and management of new content.
- Social Content Development
- Monitoring channel activity and audience engagement.
- Community Management.
Core Duties
- Presentation development and delivery
- Social team member integration to wider agency operations.
- Confident of client Social requirements across designated channels and formats
- Manage day-to-day client engagement for ongoing workstreams.
- Working collaboratively with Strategy, Account and Creative Teams to inform and build the work through ‘Social-First’ best practice leadership.
- Supporting the Social Strategists in the team with new channel / content requirements aligned to client briefs.
Qualifications
- Track record in social media in marketing, communications planning, paid media in Social, brand understanding, breadth of marketing understanding.
- Ability to collaborate, communicate and work within cross-functional team to achieve aims.
- Engaging personality and willingness to continually create solutions.
- Open to innovation and overall positive mindset
- Advanced knowledge of working software (Office 365, etc.)
- Business level or above in Japanese and English
