SoFi is seeking a Social Strategist to guide strategic development and execution of SoFi's brand across our social channels. You will play a key role in guiding the way in which we tell stories about our mission, members, and innovative products, across every social platform. We want to be a household name and a world class brand, and social is the battleground for relevance.
This is a unique opportunity to expand and execute an ambitious social strategy engineered to win the hearts and minds of ambitious members (current and future). Leveraging your previous experience, you will activate and expand upon our strategic approach to social and bring an informed point of view about new distribution opportunities. You will partner closely with our internal team members - including our world-class in-house creative team - to bring SoFi's social channels to life, driving awareness, engagement, and ultimately, conversion for SoFi.
SoFi is a new kind of finance company focused on speed, transparency, and alignment with our members' interests. Since our founding, we've expanded into other personal finance products meant to help our members get their money right. SoFi has achieved significant growth - and we have ambitious plans ahead - but to continue this growth, we need great team members like you.
Responsibilities
- Drive forward, expand and execute our brand social strategy
- Partner with a cross-functional team to ensure campaigns are built to succeed in social
- Contribute to and drive forward foundational social strategy documents
- Author strategic social content strategies and briefs based on tangible data and relevant channel insights - driving scale, innovation, testing and iteration
- Drive the creation of social content from brief to execution - with internal team, external partners, and agencies - driving scale, innovation, testing and iteration
- Seek out and keep a close eye on social media trends, including emerging platforms, then develop a strategic point of view on the SoFi opportunity
- Monitor and analyze the performance of content and campaigns across platforms to synthesize insights and optimize our approach
- Develop and execute social approach to amplify live events across channels
- Transform video content (podcasts, earned, internally produced video) into compelling social creative
- Develop strong relationships with SoFi's legal and compliance teams to ensure content adheres to regulatory conditions
- Partner with SoFi Stadium social team to extend our brand message, strategy, and have impact with this new audience
- Identify new tactics to drive brand awareness, engagement, conversion and advocacy across SoFi's social channels

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6-8 years of relevant social media marketing experience at a B2C digital brand and at least 3 years specifically in a social media function.
- In-depth understanding of social channels (existing and emerging)
- Ability to track and report on trends; with ability to discern fit for brand
- Strong writing skills
- Strong EQ and ability to assess nuance in conversations and react accordingly
- Experience managing and creating content calendars
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and location.
