Full Sail University, the leader in education for the Entertainment, Media and Technology industries, is seeking a talented and creative Social Media Video Specialist to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging short-form video content for our TikTok, Instagram, and other short-form video platforms, including both organic and advertising content. Candidates for this position must possess a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in video capturing or editing or social media for a brand or agency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop, capture, and edit short-form video content for channels such as TikTok and Instagram, including organic and advertising content.

Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling stories that resonate with our target audience.

Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and platform features to ensure our content remains fresh and engaging.

Manage video projects from concept to completion, including pre-production planning, filming, and post-production editing.

Ensure that all content adheres to the Full Sail University brand guidelines and meets quality standards.

Work alongside the social media and marketing teams to performance metrics and adjust content strategies as needed to optimize engagement and reach.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

At least 2 years of video capturing and editing or social media content experience.

Proficient with DSLR and mirrorless cameras, as well as lighting equipment.

In-depth knowledge of editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or a comparable software application.

Strong storytelling and visual communication skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail.

Knowledge of current social media trends, specifically on TikTok and Instagram.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills (not required but a plus):

Proficiency in motion graphics and animation using Adobe After Effects.
Education and/or Experience:
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years related and verifiable work experience
- Required to hold a Bachelor's degree in film, media production, digital media, marketing, or a related field.
Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:
Work is performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alphanumeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.
