We’re looking for a social media expert who understands how consumer behaviors evolve across platforms. This role bridges paid, organic, and influencer strategies, helping our clients maximize the impact of each channel. Sitting within the Investment team, this role brings a strategic perspective across the full social ecosystem, with a focus on translating trends into actionable client strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and articulate strategic POVs for each social platform (e.g., TikTok, Meta, Reddit, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn), based on how consumers uniquely engage with each.
  • Integrate paid, organic, and influencer strategies into cohesive social plans that work together across the funnel.
  • Produce weekly social media trend updates, including platform deep dives and cultural trend analyses.
  • Shape influencer strategy, including platform-specific influencer approaches and briefing considerations.
  • Collaborate with external influencer agencies to align on strategy, talent selection, and campaign direction.
  • Activate on paid social tactics, formats, and best practices across platforms, turning strategy into highly effective campaigns.
  • Translate social insights into clear, actionable briefs for creative and influencer partners.

Key Qualifications
  • 4-5 years of experience in social media strategy spanning paid, owned, and influencer.
  • Deep knowledge of major social platforms and how consumer behavior differs across them, including Meta, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, Snapchat, and X.
  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn as both a B2B and B2C platform, including organic engagement, paid formats, and thought leadership strategies.
  • Proven ability to develop compelling POVs on social trends, platform strategy, and creative direction.
  • Experience producing trend reports or newsletters for internal or external audiences.
  • Working knowledge of paid social products and optimization strategies.
  • Experience collaborating with influencer agencies or external partners.
  • Strong strategic thinking and communication skills.

Please Note: This is a hybrid position requiring a combination of in-office work at our Chicago location and remote work from home. The specific schedule will be finalized upon hire.  We are only looking for candidates in/around the Chicago Metro Area and do not offer relocation assistance.

Position Salary

We are committed to providing salary ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity considerations. The salary range for this position is: $80,000 - $90,000. This range reflects the base salary for this position.
