Title: Social Media Strategist
We are looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-oriented Social Media Strategist to join our team and lead the social media efforts for our Insurance Software & BPS (ISB) customer community. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a robust social media strategy that enhances our brand presence, fosters customer engagement and drives community growth.
Responsibilities:

Create and implement a data-driven social media strategy that aligns with the company’s goals, focusing on customer engagement, lead generation and community building

Collaborate with Social Media Copywriter to execute social media strategy through compelling content and visuals

Oversee the company’s presence on key social media platforms, including LinkedIn and industry-specific networks, ensuring that content is tailored to each platform’s audience and capabilities

Collaborate cross-functionally within the organization to develop a content calendar that supports marketing campaigns, product launches and community events

Monitor social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns, identify trends and provide actionable insights to improve future efforts

Conduct regular audits of competitors’ social media activities and strategies, identifying opportunities for differentiation and improvement

Develop and implement strategies to encourage customers and employees to become brand advocates,

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product and customer support, to ensure social media strategies are integrated with broader business initiatives

Lead social media community engagement; monitor and respond to social media interactions, engage with followers with 1:1 response that builds brand affinity and drives engagement

Track and analyze social media metrics, generate reports and utilize data for improved social media strategy and performance

Stay informed of the latest social media related trends and best practices

Advocate for new ideas and approaches in support of continuous improvement / innovation
Qualifications

Undergraduate Degree
-
4 – 5 years of experience: Proven experience as a Social Media Strategist or similar role with a strong portfolio of social media content working in a B2B environment

Knowledge: In-depth understanding of social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok) and their best practices

Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer), analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, LinkedIn analytics), and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)

Attributes: Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a proactive, results-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualification:

Concentration in Marketing, Communications and/or New Media preferred

Strong customer-centricity and demonstrated ability to place the customer at the heart of everything

Proven ability to work collaboratively with others

Experience managing influencer/creators to develop engaging social media calendar

Ability to think strategically, coupled with a pragmatic results orientation and proven track record of delivering strong tactical execution

Proven ability to develop cohesive brand social strategies and recommend supporting tactics
Must have a Valid US Indefinite Work permit

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $91,400 - $169,700.
Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
