Title: Social Media Specialist/Manager
Location: Remote - within the US.
Position Summary: We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist/Manager with a passion for digital engagement, brand storytelling, and community building. This role will cover both brands (Transact & Cbord) during the merger as well as develop, execute, and optimize a social media strategy that not only grows our online presence but also deepens our community with our audience. You'll have the opportunity to own our social strategy, cultivate relationships through engagement, make a lasting impact on our brand visibility and report out on the social media strategy.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with company goals and objectives, focusing on growth, engagement, and brand awareness.
- Create and maintain a content calendar, ensuring timely and impactful posts across all key platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok etc.).
Content Creation & Management:
- Curate and create engaging content that speaks to our audience, including graphics, videos, and copywriting, ensuring brand consistency and authenticity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate thought leadership content for company leaders, amplifying their voices on topics relevant to the industry.
- Collaborate with growth marketing team to schedule their campaign content and schedule them on social platforms.
Community Engagement:
- Actively monitor and engage with our audience, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and brand-aligned manner.
- Increase our engagement by participating in discussions and connecting with influencers, industry professionals, and target audiences.
Employee Advocacy Program:
- Lead and enhance our employee advocacy program, encouraging participation and guiding employees on how to effectively share and amplify our brand message.
- Provide ongoing support and training to employees on best practices, and measure program effectiveness, identifying ways to improve impact.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and analyze the performance of social media initiatives, using insights to inform and optimize future strategies.
- Provide regular reports on key metrics, growth trends, and engagement rates, along with actionable insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in social media strategy and execution, preferably in a B2B or tech-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative approach to content and storytelling.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g. HubSpot).
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and be comfortable as a thought leader in our industry.
