Join our dynamic team as a Social Media Specialist in Manchester, NH for our Retail Groups Division and enjoy a role that combines flexibility and opportunity. We offer a hybrid work schedule with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays and collaborate in the office from Tuesdays through Thursdays. In this role, you’ll manage and elevate social media content for our member brands, helping independent retailers grow their online presence, engage their communities, and strengthen their digital reputation with a focus on enhancing organic SEO and strengthening online reputation.

What You’ll Do:
- Create, edit, and optimize localized social media content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram (Feed, Stories, Reels), LinkedIn, and Google
- Develop eye-catching graphics and video content while ensuring brand consistency and high-quality storytelling
- Partner closely with internal account teams to manage store-level social media initiatives and align content with member goals
- Analyze performance using data and insights to continuously improve social strategies and report results to stakeholders
- Manage and support our social media management platform (Sprout), including Facebook Business Manager access
- Support promotional campaigns and broader marketing initiatives across Retail Groups
- Stay ahead of industry trends, social platform updates, and best practices to keep content fresh and impactful
- Bring care, urgency, and enthusiasm to everything you do- serving our members with authenticity and attention to detail
- A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in social media marketing and content creation
- Strong knowledge of current and emerging social media platforms and trends
- Experience creating short-form video content (Reels, Stories, TikTok-style content)
- Comfort appearing in or directing social media content when needed
- Experience using social boosts and AI tools such as Jasper, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, and Microsoft Teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or After Effects (preferred)
- A passion for helping others succeed and the ability to turn complex ideas into clear, engaging social content
- A link to a creative portfolio or samples of social media work is required as part of the application.
