Profile Requirements:
- Social Media Experience: Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role managing multiple brands, industries, or client accounts, with strong knowledge of Instagram and YouTube.
- Multimedia Skills: Strong hands-on experience with podcast and video editing, short-form content creation, content repurposing, and producing social-media-ready video assets.
- Design & Content Tools: Proficiency with Canva and Google Drive, with the ability to independently create polished graphics, captions, reels, thumbnails, and other digital content.
- Industry Versatility: Experience working across multiple industries; publishing, book promotion, psychology, mental health, professional services, education, or similarly content-driven industries is highly preferred.
- Communication & Creativity: Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent attention to detail, creative judgment, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while adapting content to different audiences and brand guidelines.
Core responsibilities:
- Social Media Management: Develop and execute engaging social media content and campaigns across Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant platforms, maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
- Content Creation: Create original posts, reels, stories, short-form videos, graphics, captions, and promotional materials using Canva and other content-creation tools.
- Podcast & Video Editing: Edit podcast episodes, interviews, educational content, promotional videos, reels, and YouTube content; identify strong clips and repurpose long-form content into engaging short-form pieces.
- Publishing & Book Promotion: Create and manage social media campaigns supporting authors, books, launches, promotions, reviews, interviews, and other publishing-related initiatives.
- Psychology & Professional Content: Develop tasteful, engaging, and audience-appropriate content for psychology practices and professional/educational brands while maintaining appropriate sensitivity and professionalism.
- Content Repurposing: Transform podcasts, videos, articles, books, interviews, and other long-form materials into social posts, reels, YouTube clips, quotes, carousels, and promotional content.
- Content Organization & Scheduling: Maintain organized content libraries, media assets, calendars, and campaign materials through Google Drive; schedule and publish content consistently.
- Engagement & Performance: Monitor comments, messages, audience engagement, and content performance; identify trends and recommend improvements to increase reach, engagement, followers, and overall brand visibility. - Female Required
