The primary purpose of the Specialist, Digital Social Media is to lead the company’s social media efforts. Continually elevating and refining our social media strategy, finding new ways to engage with our customers across various social media channels, creating compelling content and measuring and reporting on our success.This position is virtual/remote which means the work can be completed from anywhere is the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, create and execute a social media strategy that conveys a consistent brand voice, highlights our differentiation and positions the company as an industry leader.
Manage day-to-day activities, organic and paid social campaigns, media budgets and oversee external agency relationships.
Serve as the community manager for all official and social media channels. Respond quickly and accurately to comments and questions by channeling information between contributors and business stakeholders.
Responsible for education and training of employees to be better stewards and brand advocates on social media.
Implement and execute an editorial calendar to create, manage and publish digital content that supports the company’s social channels and overall digital marketing efforts.
Responsible for social listening activities and keeping up-to-date on conversations happening on social media about the company, its brands, its competitors and the industry at large. Regularly share insights gained from social media monitoring to the respective owners.
Work cross-functionally to seek out interesting news from across the company that can be used for social media engagement as well as training internal teams to be brand advocates on digital channels.
Serve as resident social media expert, staying up-to-date on the latest and most effective B2B social media strategies to increase awareness of initiatives. Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications. Work with creative and IT teams to ensure social media tools are kept up to date.
Identify KPIs, establish success metrics and create regular reporting process to gauge success and effectiveness of various strategies, campaigns and channels.
Education/Training:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or similar field required.
Related Experience:
Minimum 5 years of digital marketing and social media experience preferred. Strong and demonstrated knowledge of using social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn to promote brands.
Proven experience with social media monitoring, listening and analytics tools. Must be familiar with developing and executing compelling content, tailored for digital mediums.
Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite are obligatory.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, outgoing personality, be highly collaborative, adaptable and show a willingness to take initiative.
Demonstrating the ability to manage information from disparate sources, provide proactive, timely solutions and play the role of internal reporter to uncover news gems is desired.
This role will also receive an annual incentive plan bonus.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state or local minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between
