What you get to do: 

  • Plan, manage and execute social media calendar based on park content and larger brand initiatives. 

  • Curate and create unique content to share on owned channels that is relevant and supports key messages and campaigns. 

  • Daily community management of social media channels and regular collaboration with guest services and SEA social care team. 

  • Work with a Sesame Workshop, a variety of agencies, and internal resources to develop creative assets for customized social-only content. This includes leading and organizing related social only focused content shoots. 

  • Write photo and video briefs for any content requests to SEA creative services team for organic social. 

  • Support content/brand team with on-site film & photo shoots; Photography/videography skillsets required. 

  • Develop innovate channel engagement leveraging the strength and audience nuances of each core channel including Facebook, Instagram, X (Formerly Twitter) & TikTok 

  • Compile, update and maintain weekly, monthly, and annual social media performance results for review 

  • This position is an on-site position located in Langhorne, Pa

  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and proven ability to drive business development and outcomes using various digital marketing vehicles. 

  • Ability to manage and prioritize diverse and complex projects while meeting stringent deadlines and seizing emerging opportunities. 

  • Deep knowledge of the latest social media, entertainment and interactive trends and have a proven ability to assess and report consumer trends. 

  • Editorial mindset that understands the content audiences consume and how to create content that is consistent with the park/Company’s brand voice, style and tone. 

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with an ability to adapt communication style to many different audiences. 

  • Ability to work with various departments and within varying organizational structures to achieve park and Company goals. 

  • Enthusiastic, confident change-agent, performer and team player with the ability and passion to work in a demanding and fast paced environment. 

  • Ability to analyze and present social performance. 

  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a dynamic and demanding environment. 

  • Comfortable appearing on camera for social projects/content needs and the ability to interact with park guests 

 
 Required skills: 

  • Microsoft Office program 

  • Photography and videography skills required 

  • Photoshop and video-editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, iMovie, etc.) required 

  • Strong organizational skills 

  • Read, analyze, and interpret general business documents and periodicals 

  • Write routine reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals 

  • Effectively present information to individuals and group 

  • Positively interact with guests and co-workers 

  • Lift 20 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds 

  • Available to work a varied schedule based on the needs of the business 

 
Other requirements: 

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • 1+ years of social media and/or content creation experience required 

  • Experience in content development for a growing social audience. 

  • Experience with Google analytics and other measurement tools a plus. 

  • Experience using community management, scheduling, and reporting platforms such as but not limited to Khoros, Sprinklr, HootSuite, etc. 

  • Intermediate Photoshop and video-editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, iMovie, etc.) experience required
