We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Marketing Intern to join our Marketing team. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for someone who understands social media beyond casual use and wants to build real, hands-on experience managing and growing a brand.

In this role, you will support the execution of our social media strategy across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others. You will work closely with the marketing team to create content, engage with audiences, and analyze performance to continuously improve results.

This is a 3-month internship with the potential to convert into a full-time Social Media Manager role based on performance. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes initiative, and is excited about building and owning social media channels over time.

We are located in Santa Clara, California, and are looking for local candidates only. Must be willing to commute to the Santa Clara office 4 times a week. Candidates with authorization to work in the US preferred. No sponsorships are available for this role.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of social media strategy across platforms to grow brand awareness and engagement
  • Assist in creating and publishing content including short-form videos, posts, captions, and basic graphics
  • Create storyboards and scripts for videos
  • Monitor social media channels and engage with comments, messages, and community interactions
  • Stay up-to-date with trends on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube and contribute ideas for content
  • Track and report on social media performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns, product launches, and content initiatives
  • Assist with influencer research, outreach, and coordination
  • Help maintain a consistent content calendar and ensure timely publishing
  • Support social media advertising efforts including basic campaign setup and monitoring

Required Skills:

  • Active user of social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, or YouTube with a strong understanding of how content performs
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Creative mindset with an interest in content creation and storytelling
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn, take feedback, and adapt quickly
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or currently pursuing one
  • Internship, freelance work, or personal experience managing a social media account or brand
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics
  • Familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Veed, or other content creation tools
  • Interest in digital marketing, branding, and audience growth

Benefits

The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 to $30.00 and is dependent on experience.
