This role will help bring SCA’s global marketing to life for Korean audiences while supporting local events in-country.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a passion for digital content, an understanding of Korean social media culture, and the organizational skills to keep projects moving across teams and time zones.

The role is a contract to permanent position and the pay range is between 3,572,090 – 4,286,508 KRW per month.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Content: Global & Korean Market (70–80%)

  • Translate and adapt global campaigns, copy, and creative assets for Korean audiences, ensuring cultural relevance, linguistic accuracy, and brand consistency.
  • Prepare, schedule, and publish content across SCA’s global social media channels, including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Create and edit simple social media assets, including graphics, short-form videos, captions, and subtitles, using existing footage and templates, where appropriate.
  • Support the execution of the global content calendar by coordinating assets, tracking deadlines, scheduling posts, and flagging missing content or approvals.
  • Monitor channel activity and basic performance metrics, compiling insights and identifying content trends to share with the Digital Content Director.
  • Maintain organized content files and follow established publishing, brand, and approval guidelines.

Korean Market & Event Support (20%)

  • Support marketing for Korean events and education programs in coordination with the Managing Director, Korea.
  • Help adapt marketing materials for local campaigns, events, and community initiatives.
  • Communicate timelines, progress, and competing requests to both managers, escalating conflicts when priorities need clarification.
  • Possibility to include occasional support for SCA trade show events in Europe and the United States.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Experience or demonstrated ability in social media, content creation, digital marketing, or localization.
  • Strong Korean writing, editing, and translation skills, with sensitivity to cultural context and audience expectations.
  • Familiarity with Korean social media trends, formats, and audience behavior.
  • Comfort creating and editing content using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proactive communication skills and comfort collaborating with colleagues across teams and time zones.
  • Based in Korea, with the ability to support local events as needed.

Preferred

  • Experience creating content for an organization, brand, or client.

The coordinator will manage assigned day-to-day tasks, communicate progress and deadlines proactively, and flag competing priorities early. Strategic direction and priority conflicts will be resolved in collaboration with the two managers.

What Success Looks Like

  • Channel and campaign metrics are tracked and summarize regularly to help inform future content decisions.

First 90 Days

  • Learn SCA's global brand guidelines, content calendar, and platform strategy.
  • Establish call cadence, daily workflow, and reporting structure.
