What You Will Do

The Marketing Associate, Social Media will be joining the Global Content & Brand Marketing team reporting to the Director, Brand Marketing. This individual will own (1) the brand’s social media strategy, as an extension of the broader brand strategy (2) the brand’s social media content calendar (3) creation of compelling social media copy (4) curation and development of all social media image and video assets, in partnership with our creative team.

  • Manages the day-to-day social media activities for a global brand, including:

    • Creating, managing, and executing all social media content across all brand channels

    • Community management of the brand’s social media channels

    • Coordination of approvals and execution of social media content with cross-functional stakeholders

    • Driving content creation of social media-focused content, in partnership with our creative teams

  • Act as brand’s social media SME, responsible for continuously exploring and experimenting with new social strategies, formats, and content types.

  • Leveraging all of brand’s accessible digital marketing analytics touchpoints to direct content strategy and development

  • Working with marketing operations, report and analyze social media performance, and regularly report back to stakeholders

  • Responsible for crafting, testing, and optimizing compelling, effective content

  • Maintain a consistent brand voice, style, and tone

  • Understanding of best practices of a multichannel marketing strategy and the content that is appropriate to those respective channels and audiences (which content and approaches work best)

  • Analyze results of all social content to guide future decisions

  • Work with outside agencies on writing projects if needed

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • 3+ years of marketing experience, with proven experience running and growing a brand’s social presence at scale

  • Best practices (organic and paid) across all scaled social media channels, including LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok

  • Excellent social media copywriting skills 

  • Strong project management, able to manage multiple projects at once; highly organized self-starter, able to work with minimum supervision

  • Works well in a team environment and cross functionally within an organization

What Skills & Experience You Could Bring

  • BS/BA Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or equivalent.

About Your Location- Princeton, NJ, USA

Under a flexible work arrangement (hybrid), this resource primarily supports the Transportation Sector and works collaboratively across the Sales and Marketing teams.

In a hybrid role, you will work with your manager to establish a mutually agreeable schedule for your time worked in the office based on the position and the business need. Typically hybrid positions are 1-3 days per week, or 20%-60% of the month in the office.
