About Neon One

At Neon One, we believe that technology is the key to building vibrant communities of generosity. As a leader in nonprofit software since 2004, we create intuitive solutions that help small and mid-sized nonprofits connect with people, build trust, and make good happen every day.

Our culture is powered by empathy, innovation, and a shared mission to empower organizations making a difference. We operate with a customer-first mindset, take pride in extraordinary results, and grow together by supporting each other and embracing bold new ideas. If you’re passionate about using your skills to drive real impact and want to thrive in a collaborative, fully remote environment, Neon One is the place for you.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Brand & Communications, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing organic social media strategies that grow brand awareness, engage our audience, and drive measurable business impact. You’ll lead content creation and produce high-performing graphic and video assets that support organic social campaigns.

As the go-to expert on social media management, you will manage content across all organic platforms, ensuring a consistent brand voice and messaging. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who can take an idea from concept to finished product—whether it’s a quick-turn short-form video or a multi-post educational series. All content you create must be deeply customer-centric, speaking directly to the needs, challenges, and goals of nonprofit professionals who are our end users.

ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Strategy & Execution
  • Full ownership of our social media strategy, from ideation to execution, reporting, and optimization.

  • Own content creation and curation for LinkedIn, Meta, and other relevant platforms focused on customer-centric content that addresses the real-world challenges nonprofit professionals face, focusing on their needs rather than our products.

  • Maintain a consistent brand voice while driving continued growth across following and engagement.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the nonprofit sector and our ICP to ensure all content feels authentic, resonates with our audience, and acts as an extension of Neon One's thought leadership.

  • Concept and execute social-first content, graphics, and lightweight video content (e.g., explainers, ads, how-tos, testimonials) to support storytelling, product marketing, and community engagement across platforms.

  • Manage daily organic social operations: scheduling, publishing, community engagement, and moderation.

  • Leverage AI tools (Gemini, Canva AI, CapCut AI features, etc.) to scale content production while maintaining high creative standards and brand consistency.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media initiatives with broader business goals.

  • Stay current on platform updates, emerging trends, and best practices to keep our social presence ahead of the curve.

  • Maintain exceptionally high standards for all copy and creative work—every post should be polished, error-free, and on-brand.

Performance & Analytics
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics such as reach, engagement, CTR, follower growth, lead gen, and content resonance.

  • Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations to optimize strategy and content in real-time.

  • Identify what's working, and what's not, and pivot quickly to stay aligned with evolving audience behavior and business goals.

  • Set benchmarks, create weekly reports, and communicate performance to internal stakeholders in a clear, compelling way.

  • Design and run A/B tests or experiments to refine post formats, messaging, and publishing cadence.

  • Proven track record of driving organic growth (audience, engagement, lead generation) on LinkedIn and Meta.

  • Experience using AI tools (Gemini, Canva AI, video editing AI, or similar) to increase content production efficiency and quality.

  • Exceptional copywriting and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail and quality.

  • Strong customer empathy and ability to write from the customer's perspective, not the company's.
