Job Description

Working within the Corporate Communications team and reporting to the Director of Social Media & Employee Engagement, this role helps drive IFS's brand awareness through strategic, consistent, and high-impact social media programs that position IFS as a highly credible thought leader in its field. The successful candidate must be accustomed to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, as social media requires a 24/7 presence, the ability to respond swiftly to short deadlines, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience in creative industries or a media background. We seek candidates who can offer fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to enhance our social media strategies.

The successful candidate will use expertise, collaboration, and creativity to help manage and deliver IFS's social media messages, content, and best practices to the company’s key regions, enabling them to implement effective awareness-driving social media programs which resonate locally while aligning with corporate goals.

  • Purpose: Lead and execute key social media programs, ensuring alignment with corporate business goals and facilitating the smooth operation of the department.
  • Reporting to: Director of Social Media & Employee Engagement.

Key to this role is a firm understanding of social media and corporate communications disciplines as well as macro-economic, business, and technology themes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy and Management:

  • Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with IFS's corporate communication goals.
  • Oversee the management of IFS's social media platforms, including the advocacy program and platform strategy.
  • Ensure quality control of content shared via IFS social media channels, maintaining consistency with the brand voice and style guidelines.
  • Monitor social media trends and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Content Creation and Oversight:

  • Lead the creation and execution of social media campaigns, ensuring high-quality and engaging content.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to support them in delivering quality content for social media.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for content improvement, and ensure all content adheres to IFS's brand voice and quality standards.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing relationships and ensuring effective communication flow.
  • Proactively communicate with stakeholders, providing clear and timely updates on social media activities and performance.

Performance Measurement and Reporting:

  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of social media programs, using data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Generate global social media reports and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations.

Ad Hoc Projects:

  • Lead and execute ad hoc projects associated with social media, including social media campaigns and events.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor these projects to ensure they align with IFS's goals.

    Desirable experience:

    • Additional language skills.
    • University degree with a business or marketing degree (or equivalent training).
