We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our Product Design & Manufacturing marketing team and leverage the power of our vibrant 1,000,000+ community of followers across social media to drive impact and growth.
The Social Media Manager for Autodesk Design and Manufacturing will support our team by managing our YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook channels and setting the broader social media marketing strategy. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the technical aptitude to grasp the basics of the Autodesk product design and manufacturing solutions and industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with enterprise social media management, a strong work ethic, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Responsibilities
Develop, message, and implement a consistent written and visual voice and tone for our Autodesk Design & Manufacturing social media channels
Curate and organize a consistent pipeline of user-generated Autodesk Fusion content for social media platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Meta
Develop a community management strategy for YouTube that addresses customer feedback and pain points in a consistent, timely fashion
Collaborate with stakeholders from marketing, product, partnerships, and sales to create and implement high-performing organic social media campaigns
Serve as primary subject matter expert on emerging trends in social media, including but not limited to, impactful algorithm changes, new platforms, and the impact of LLMs on social media strategy
Manage and maintain the social media content intake queues and publishing calendars for Autodesk Design and Manufacturing social channels
Track and report on social media channel health to assess efficacy and areas for improvement
Support in organizing and promoting digital events, including but not limited to, webinars, social media livestreams, and giveaways or promotional offers
Minimum Qualifications
Proven experience in managing social media platforms for a B2B company
Strong understanding of social media best practices and platform-specific audience engagement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Should be able to not only copy-edit the self but copy-edit the written work of others. Serve as quality control for all content published on the social media channels
Ability to create visually appealing content using basic graphic design tools if needed. An eye for what works is more important than being able to do it all yourself
Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
The ideal candidate is not only talented at organizing themselves, but creating organizational structure that is transparent and intuitive for others to navigate
Sufficient technical aptitude to understand and convey the basics of Autodesk product design and manufacturing solutions
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure, with shifting deadlines and by leveraging creativity and ingenuity
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Familiarity with social media management tools such as Sprout Social
Experience with basic video editing software such as Vimeo or Wistia. Adobe Creative Suite proficiency is a plus
Familiarity with basic principles of SEO and content optimization. Understanding of how AI is impacting traditional approaches to SEO and content performance a big plus
Previous experience in the product design and manufacturing industry is a plus. Being able to understand, empathize with, and communicate to the designer or engineer persona is a must
Experience leveraging AI to automate workflows or drive operational efficiency
