Social Media Intern

Pearl Abyss - the company behind the highly acclaimed Black Desert franchise - is seeking a passionate and motivated Social Media Intern for its European Publishing Office who has a keen interest in gaming and wants to gain practical experience in the industry.

You will collaborate with the marketing and content production team to create engaging content for our social media channels, further growing and maintaining the European player base.

As a Social Media Intern, you will actively engage with our community, developing and executing content strategies that resonate with European players.

You will join a dedicated team working across multiple communities, platforms and games Black Desert, and upcoming releases such as Crimson Desert, DokeV and PLAN 8.

Internship period: Flexible starting dates, internship period last for 3 to 6 months depending on program requirements

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day handling of all Pearl Abyss Europe’s social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Youtube, adapting content to suit different channels.
• Ensure consistent tone across all channels.
• Research community trends and propose additional activities across platforms to further grow the European player base.

• Monitor, track, analyze and report on performance on social media platforms and develop strategy to further improve impact and community engagement
• Keep up to date on trends within gaming and entertainment industries and keep the Pearl Abyss Europe channels current and relevant.

• You are currently studying towards your Bachelor or Master at a Dutch university in : Communication, Electronic and Digital Media Communication, Broadcasting, Public relations, Marketing, Marketing Communication, or a related field.
• You are an EU residence or have a valid residence permit for the Netherlands
• You possess great inter-personal and communication skills and are a strong collaborator

• English language capabilities of C1 or higher (reading, writing and speaking).
• Creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to multitask more than one project at the same time.
• You are avid gamer or have a proven interest in the gaming industry
• Korean language capabilities are a plus.

• The internship allowance ranges from €650 ~ €1000 per month (based on 40 hours per week), depending on directly relevant experience (e.g., previous internships or part-time roles)

• Fully reimbursed public transportation expenses - maximum €450/month
• 12.5 holiday days (per 6 months, based on 40-hour)
