Social Media Intern

We are looking for someone who is a creative at heart, has strong content creation skills and a passion for social media. In this role, you will provide valuable social media support with day-to-day tasks, including community management and content creation.
This is a long-term internship slated to run 6 months, 20+hours per week . Pay rate is $20/hour.
This is a great opportunity for content creators of all types- video, photo, and copywriters- as well as those interested in public relations, editing, and journalism.
Location: This is a fully remote position with preferred location in the Pacific time zone. 
What you will be doing:

• Designing, writing, editing and curating content for social media channels (FB, YT, IG, X, Pinterest, TikTok, LI)
• Providing ongoing community management that’s friendly, helpful, transparent and on-brand
• Collaborating with team to generate content ideas and identify opportunities on social
• Identifying key online influencers and assist with outreach
• Support ongoing monitoring and reporting on social media engagement and community growth 

Skills you bring:

• Recent graduate or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Design, or Photography 
• Experience with video, photography or graphic design preferred
• Video and photo editing skills, including experience editing videos for TikTok and IG content consumption
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
• Work independently as well as with a team
• Be flexible and enjoy a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
• Bilingual written proficiency in English/ Spanish preferred
