Social media intern
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Social Media Intern to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing social media distribution to enhance our brand's online presence, engage our audience, get marketing intelligence and social media analytics. This position requires a good understanding of social media trends, analytics, and best practices, coupled with good creative and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Run social media campaigns aligned with our brand voice to increase brand awareness and drive user engagement across all relevant platforms
- Manage and grow our social media presence on platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, and YouTube
- Analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports on performance, insights, and recommendations for improvement
- Gain market intelligence through secondary research
- Foster community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and on-brand manner
- Stay informed about platform updates and new social media tools to continuously optimize our social media presence
Who are you?
We are looking for a results-driven individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changes in the social media landscape. In addition:
- Some experience in social media, digital marketing, or related roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with experience in using social media analytics tools. Familiarity with social media management and scheduling tools.
- Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to social media content.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated and proactive.
