Social Media & Events Intern

MegPrime Pay is looking for outgoing, creative, and culturally aware Social Media & Events Interns to join our team part-time. This is a college-credit internship designed for students interested in social media, fintech, marketing, content creation, branding, and events.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting fun and engaging street interviews on behalf of MegPrime Pay.
• Brainstorming, filming, and editing simple content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other platforms.
• Identifying relevant trends, sounds, cultural moments, and online conversations.
• Creating entertaining and educational posts that support MegPrime Pay’s brand direction.
• Helping make our social accounts more relatable, culturally relevant, and community-focused.
• Assisting with event setup, guest engagement, content capture, and breakdown.
• Capturing behind-the-scenes footage during events and brand activations.
• Supporting content planning and community engagement.

The ideal candidate:

• Is currently enrolled in college and eligible to receive internship credit.
• Is available to work part-time.
• Is comfortable approaching and interviewing people in public.
• Is confident appearing on camera or working behind it.
• Understands TikTok, Instagram, social trends, and internet culture.
• Has basic experience using Canva, CapCut, or similar creative tools.
• Is dependable, organized, energetic, and comfortable helping at events.
• Can create culturally relevant content while following MegPrime Pay’s brand guidelines.
• Is available for occasional evening or weekend events.

This is a part-time, college-credit internship. Previous professional experience is not required. Applicants may submit content created for personal accounts, school projects, student organizations, or previous roles. (please attach portfolio)
