The Role:

We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team at Piermont Brands. In this role, you will create compelling design assets that elevate the visual identity of our brand and resonate with our target audience. From marketing materials and digital content to merchandise and in-store displays, you will be responsible for bringing our brand vision to life across multiple touchpoints. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design Creation:

    • Develop visually striking sell sheets, presentation decks, and case cards to effectively communicate product messaging and brand identity.
    • Create eye-catching shelf talkers, posters, and promotional materials for in-store events and marketing campaigns.
    • Design branded merchandise, including apparel, glassware, and promotional items, that align with our brand’s aesthetics and marketing strategies.
    • Produce engaging graphics for social media, enhancing online presence and fostering community engagement.
  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the marketing team to understand project objectives, target audiences, and brand guidelines.
    • Collaborate with sales teams and product managers to incorporate feedback into design work and ensure alignment with business goals.
    • Partner with external vendors and printers to ensure high-quality production of design assets.
  • Merchandise & POS Sourcing:

    • Coordinate sourcing for branded merchandise that supports marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
    • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of materials.
  • Project Management:

    • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed within budget.
    • Maintain organized design files, including assets, versions, and specifications.
  • Brand Consistency:

    • Uphold and enhance brand guidelines across all design outputs to maintain a consistent and recognizable visual identity.
    • Regularly review marketing materials to ensure they reflect up-to-date branding and product information.
  • Market Research:

    • Stay informed about design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to introduce fresh ideas and creative approaches to the team.
    • Analyze the effectiveness of design materials and suggest improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within the consumer goods or spirits industry.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design tools.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design projects, particularly in marketing, branding, and visual storytelling.
  • Solid understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively explain design concepts.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Experience with print production processes and materials.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, including social media design and content creation.
  • Understanding of merchandise sourcing and production processes.
  • Familiarity with the spirits industry and consumer behavior trends is a plus.
