We are seeking a Social Media Coordinator to own SocialPilot, Google Business Profiles, organic social media, local content, educational content, site content collection, event recaps, social reporting, and content workflows across DM Clinical Research’s multi-site network. This role will also support the Performance Marketing Lead by aligning organic content, paid campaign creative learnings, approved educational content, and local trust-building efforts. This role is more than routine posting. It supports site visibility, patient trust, community credibility, provider confidence, and long-term organic acquisition support.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage SocialPilot scheduling, post queues, approval flow, calendar organization, account selection, platform status, and post tracking.
- Manage Google Business Profile updates across assigned DM sites, including posts, photos, educational content, event visibility, local updates, services, address/phone/hour checks, and location information where applicable.
- Maintain weekly and monthly organic content calendars by platform, site, market, audience, content pillar, and priority indication.
- Build by-site and by-market content plans for priority locations such as Houston, Bellaire, Phoenix, Indianapolis, Philadelphia, Miami, DFW,
- Tomball, Cypress, Chicago, Detroit, ABQ, Jersey City, Seattle, and other active markets.
- Coordinate broad educational content around clinical research, patient expectations, informed consent, screening, eligibility, study visits, mental health, obesity/metabolic health, C. Diff, COPD/respiratory health, RSV/vaccine education, ASCVD/cardiovascular health, pediatrics, and other approved topics.
- Use tools to draft captions, create localized variations, repurpose longer content, generate first drafts, summarize event recaps, support social calendar planning, and draft Google Business Profile posts.
- Use video clipping and tools where approved to support reels, short-form video, event content, educational content, FAQs, and site visibility.
- Collect local content from site/regional points of contact, including staff photos, site photos, office updates, community moments, event content, approved behind-the-scenes content, and local trust-building updates.
- With the creative team to create static graphics, carousels, reels, video templates, event templates, LinkedIn templates, Google Business Profile graphics, and other visual assets needed for social/GBP/local visibility.
- Support event content before and after approved community events, including event awareness, day-of visibility, recap content, photo collages, thank-you posts, and post-event trust-building content.
- Support Digital and the Performance Marketing Lead by repurposing approved high-performing creative themes, aligning organic posts with priority markets, and flagging organic engagement trends or content gaps.
- Support local visibility around active and upcoming markets without using study-specific recruitment language unless approved.
- Maintain clear approval routing for study-specific, sensitive, recruitment-focused, CTA-heavy, patient-facing, sponsor-facing.
- Coordinate with the BD team when BD-facing content, business-facing brand messaging, LinkedIn visibility, or sponsor-facing content overlaps with Patient Access & Marketing content.
- Maintain content folders, captions, post records, approval notes, account information, reusable content libraries, template libraries, and stock image/template direction.
- Support by-site or by-market email/newsletter content where appropriate and approved, especially for education, local visibility, or event follow-up support.
- Track monthly social/GBP activity, including posting cadence, site coverage, account activity, engagement consistency, event content, Google Business Profile activity, and organic inquiries or leads where available.
- Ensure content avoids unapproved study-specific claims, protocol names, unsupported patient promises, medical claims, or recruitment CTAs that have not been approved.
- Identify content gaps by site, market, indication, event, content pillar, or platform and recommend where additional photos, videos, templates, or local updates are needed.
- Build a repeatable monthly site content request workflow so the social calendar does not depend on last-minute site team responses.
Knowledge and Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, Journalism, Graphic Communications, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent social media, content coordination, healthcare marketing, or multi-location content experience may be considered.
Experience
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience coordinating social media, content calendars, organic content, Google Business Profiles, local content, or multi-location digital content.
- Experience managing social scheduling tools and content approval workflows required.
- Experience writing captions, organizing content calendars, collecting content, and coordinating with creative teams required.
- Experience with Google Business Profiles strongly preferred.
- Healthcare, clinical research, multi-site brand, patient education, or regulated content experience strongly preferred.
Credentials
- Social media, content marketing, Google Business Profile, AI content, or digital marketing certifications preferred but not required.
- Healthcare marketing or regulated content experience preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong understanding of local content and trust-building in a multi-location environment.
- Ability to write patient-friendly educational content without overpromising or using unapproved claims.
- Ability to identify content that needs approval before posting.
- Strong attention to detail across accounts, dates, captions, images, and approval status.
- Ability to coordinate with sites and internal teams to collect usable local content.
- Ability to use AI tools responsibly while maintaining accuracy and brand tone.
- Understanding that organic content supports credibility and engagement, but does not replace performance marketing or patient follow-up workflows.
- Ability to support the Performance Marketing Lead without taking over paid campaign strategy or optimization.

- Posting Cadence Approved content schedule is maintained across assigned platforms and sites.
- GBP Consistency Google Business Profiles are updated consistently by site.
- Site Coverage Priority sites have recurring local content and visibility.
- Performance Marketing Support Organic content, social creative needs, and local market posts are aligned with approved campaign priorities and PML requests.
- AI Efficiency AI-assisted content output reduces manual content burden while maintaining quality.
- Event Visibility Approved events have pre-event and post-event content or recaps where appropriate.
- Content Organization Captions, assets, approvals, and posted content records are organized and accessible.
- Organic Contribution Organic inquiries or lead contributions are tracked where available.
- Approval Quality Study-specific or sensitive content is escalated before posting.
