The work matters.
Jodie AI is a UK company building an AI receptionist for busy businesses. Jodie answers calls, captures the important details and helps owners get back to customers, even when they can't pick up themselves.
Work alongside our London team, with direct access to the people building and supporting Jodie.
What you'll own
- Own the social editorial calendar and channel strategy, from the idea through publication and analysis.
- Create and commission short-form video, product stories and practical content for business owners.
- Work with customers and colleagues to tell accurate stories with the right permissions.
- Build community, respond thoughtfully and turn audience feedback into better content and product insight.
What you'll bring
- A portfolio showing strong writing, creative judgement and hands-on social content production.
- Evidence of growing an engaged audience and connecting content to meaningful business outcomes.
- Ability to brief and edit short-form video and adapt a story to different channels.
- Good judgement about claims, permissions, brand voice and public responses.
Useful, but not essential
B2B brands, founder-led content, creator partnerships and lightweight filming or editing.
You don't need a particular degree or every nice-to-have. Show us the relevant work you've done and how you think.
Your first 90 days
A starting point we'll shape together, with clear priorities and support.
- By day 30: Learn the customers, audit the channels and propose a focused editorial direction.
- By day 60: Establish a sustainable publishing rhythm and test repeatable creative formats.
- By day 90: Show which stories create relevant engagement, qualified visits and product interest.
Where and when you'll work
Full-time, 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Work primarily from our London HQ during UK business hours. Discuss any flexibility you need at the first conversation.
Tell us your location and whether you need visa sponsorship when you apply. We will discuss feasibility early; sponsorship and relocation support are not guaranteed.
What you'll earn
- Annual base salary (before tax): £80k - £110k GBP
Where you sit in the range reflects the scope you can own and the relevant skills you bring. We discuss this early, using the published band rather than your previous salary.
The benefits
Pay worth moving for
A published salary range for every role. Sales roles show base pay and on-target earnings separately, so you know exactly what you are considering.
Proper time off
30 days of paid annual leave, plus the public holidays where you work. Time to switch off, come back fresh and have a life outside work.
Keep getting better
A GBP 2,000 annual learning budget, or local-currency equivalent, for useful courses, books and conferences. Build skills you can put to work.
Tools that do the job
A company laptop, the software you need and a suitable workspace setup. Remote roles include support getting your home workspace ready.
Support for your future
A 5% employer pension contribution for UK employees. Regional retirement contributions and benefits are set out in your local offer.
Room to make a difference
Own meaningful work, speak directly with the people making decisions and see your ideas reach customers. Clear priorities and useful feedback.
A clear, practical hiring process
- A first conversation. Talk about your experience, the work, location and compensation.
- A look at how you work. Bring an existing piece of work and discuss how you would adapt a simple Jodie brief for two channels. We'll share the format and expected time beforehand.
- Meet the team. Discuss the way we'd work together, ask your questions and review next steps.
We use role-related evidence to make decisions. Please don't share confidential work or customer information. Tell us if an adjustment would help you show your strengths.
How to apply
Email your CV or a link to your profile, your location and a short example relevant to this role. A few clear paragraphs are plenty.
What to include: Send two or three examples with a note on your contribution and what you learned from the results.
