Job Summary & Responsibilities
As a Social Media Producer, you'll bring the Grand Ole Opry's iconic brand to life by creating compelling, timely, and original content across social media channels. You'll schedule and publish content, capture and edit photography and video, and cover live events, artist moments, backstage access, and brand initiatives in collaboration with Social Media and Marketing teams. As the ideal candidate, you're creative, highly motivated, and adaptable, with strong social media knowledge and the ability to create engaging content in a fast-paced live entertainment environment. Reports to Social Media Manager.
 
  • Capture, create, and edit real-time photo and video content for performances, events, and brand initiatives using professional and mobile equipment. Create engaging short-form and social media content while maintaining brand standards and responding quickly to relevant content opportunities.
  • Support day-to-day social media execution. Collaborate with Social Media leadership to develop and execute content across current and emerging platforms that align with brand objectives, promotional priorities, and audience growth goals.
  • Maintain social content calendars. Organize upcoming posts, show coverage, artist moments, marketing priorities, collaborations, and other brand initiatives. Schedule and publish social content across platforms.
  • Support content production planning. Coordinate shoot schedules, shot lists, production needs, equipment, and content deliverables for shows, special events, artist visits. and marketing campaigns.
  • Draft captions and write compelling social copy that reflect the brand voice while accurately representing artists and performances.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Artist Relations, Operations, Production, and other internal teams to coordinate content opportunities, logistics, and promotional campaigns. Coordinate delivery of photos, videos, and other content assets to internal teams, artist teams, and external partners as needed.
  • Support community management by monitoring comments, messages, and conversations. Respond to fans' questions and inquiries in a timely, authentic, and brand-appropriate manner, and identify opportunities to recognize and reward key contributors.
  • Coordinate content opportunities with artists and their teams in collaboration with the Social Media Manager, Artist Relations, and other internal teams.
  • Monitor social media trends, audience behavior, competitors, and emerging platform features. Track and report content performance, audience insights, and social media metrics. Use finding to identify successful creative formats, artists, topics, and approaches that improve engagement and audience growth.
  • Maintain organized photo and video libraries so content can be quickly located, shared and repurposed across social and marketing channels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
Education
  • Degree in Communication, Marketing, New Media or related field preferred; Equivalent experience and a strong content portfolio may be considered
Experience
  • 3+ years' professional experience in social media, digital content creation, video production, or related field preferred
  • Experience covering live events or other fast-paced, real-time environments preferred
  •  Experience writing compelling copy in brand voice for social and posting content
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Effective interpersonal, written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Able to recognize compelling moments, create engaging content quickly, and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage content calendars, deadlines, multiple priorities, and changing production needs
  • Technical experience with content management systems, production software, and hardware like CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, Lightroom, etc.), and DSLR cameras and lighting
  • Able to take creative direction while proactively identifying content opportunities
  • Able to schedule content teams, manage production, and oversee content editing
 
Physical Requirements
Speak and hear to communicate and use both near and far vision. Frequently sit with some walking and standing. Occasionally climb, sit, kneel, bend, steps up/down and reach above shoulder. Regularly traverse stairs and walk on uneven terrain, often while carrying product. Frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs. Continually use hands for basic tasks and frequent, precise hand coordination for detailed work.
 
Working Conditions
Live music and event environments include variable weather conditions, large crowds, and elevated noise levels. Occasional work in normal office conditions. Some travel required.

Skills Required

  • 3+ years experience creating digital and social media content
  • Degree in Communication, Marketing, New Media or related field
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and visual communication skills
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and knowledge of social analytics tools
  • Technical experience with content management systems
  • Technical experience with production software and hardware (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Premiere, Lightroom; DSLR cameras and lighting)
  • Experience writing compelling copy in brand voice and posting content
  • Ability to schedule content teams, manage production, and oversee content editing
