About the Opportunity

SRM Concrete is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media and Design Manager to lead the company’s social media presence and develop compelling visual content. This position will manage SRM’s corporate and affiliated social media pages, create platform-specific content, work alongside the Content Producer, and travel to support company events and initiatives.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute content strategies across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, X, websites, podcasts, and emerging platforms.
  • Manage SRM’s corporate accounts and additional pages representing company brands, divisions, locations, programs, and initiatives.
  • Build content calendars and write, schedule, and publish timely, platform-specific content.
  • Create branded graphics, templates, advertisements, thumbnails, recruiting materials, and promotional assets using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Work alongside the Content Producer to plan shoots and transform photography, video, interviews, and podcasts into digital content.
  • Capture and edit basic photography and short-form video when needed.
  • Travel to and assist with company events, sponsorship activations, community initiatives, trade shows, and team member programs.
  • Provide hands-on event support, including setup, content capture, social media coverage, and breakdown when needed.
  • Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and online conversations while maintaining professional audience engagement.
  • Collaborate with leadership, operations, sales, recruiting, and other departments to gather stories and support company campaigns.
  • Track audience growth, engagement, video views, watch time, website traffic, and other performance measures.
  • Maintain consistent branding, account access, page information, and publishing standards across company-affiliated accounts.
  • Monitor platform changes, audience trends, and emerging content opportunities.
  • Manage multiple projects, approvals, and deadlines while responding quickly to time-sensitive needs.
What Sets You Apart
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, digital media, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Three or more years of experience in social media management, graphic design, content strategy, or digital marketing preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple social media accounts or brands.
  • Strong Canva skills and experience creating professional, on-brand graphics; Adobe Creative Suite experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of typography, layout, color, branding, and visual hierarchy.
  • Portfolio or work samples demonstrating social media content, graphic design, or campaign experience.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience with social media scheduling, analytics, and reporting tools.
  • Basic photography, video editing, and short-form content capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and exercise professional judgment.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across all levels of an organization.
  • Experience with a multi-location, construction, manufacturing, or industrial company is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings or weekends for company events.
  • Ability to work in operational and construction environments.
