Job Title: Social Media Analyst

Job Summary:
As a Social Media Analyst, you will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on performance across various social media platforms. Your insights will help guide strategy, content development, and campaign optimization. The ideal candidate is both data-driven and creative, with a deep understanding of social media trends and analytics tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
- Develop and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports with actionable insights
- Track KPIs such as engagement rate, reach, impressions, CTR, conversions, and audience growth
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar
- Collaborate with content and strategy teams to align insights with campaign goals
- Benchmark competitors and conduct social listening to identify trends and opportunities
- Present findings to internal teams and clients in a clear and visually engaging format
- Recommend optimizations for better performance based on data analysis
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in social media analysis or a similar role (preferably agency-side)
- Proficient with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Insights, Sprout Social, TubularLabs)
- Strong knowledge of key social media platforms and their analytics dashboards
- Excellent Excel skills; familiarity with data visualization tools a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented with a passion for numbers and storytelling through data
- Experience using dashboards or BI tools like Tableau, or Power BI is a plus
