The Crown Is Yours
As a Social Programming Specialist, you will be responsible for producing topical and compelling content that captivates our target audience across multiple social media platforms. You'll work with a variety of teams to source, ideate, and co-create content for social channels while ensuring core business initiatives are met. We're looking for storytellers, who share and react to the biggest moments in sports with our followers through the lens of social media in unique and engaging ways.
What you'll do as a Social Programming Specialist

  • Ideate, create, publish, and track posts across various social media platforms for DraftKings verticals.
  • Use social listening, channel monitoring, and user interaction to better understand audience behavior and interests, while managing online presence during live sporting events.
  • Apply metrics to social strategy and lead creative brainstorming sessions.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure company priorities are being met.
  • Research industry best practices, internet trends and new techniques to continuously improve our overall social media marketing efforts and maintain brand tone of voice.


What you'll bring

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Understanding of sports betting and Daily Fantasy Sports.
  • Experience writing and developing copy for platforms and mastery of social channel mechanics, including publishing platforms.
  • Experience using Adobe Photoshop and Premiere.
  • Strong understanding of insights, briefs and consumer research in order to create copy/posts that are relevant and engaging.
  • Demonstrated experience working with and applying social media metrics and data to larger strategy and execution, as well as executing social media rollout plans
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 79,500.00 USD - 99,400.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
