About the Team and the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Ad Operations Specialist to manage and optimize lower-funnel social and display advertising campaigns. This role will involve driving day-to-day operations, conducting testing, and performing analytics for dynamic product ads within the broader Performance Marketing organization at eBay. The role is essential in developing efficient and effective advertising strategies and improving the visibility and sales results for eBay's products.

What You Will Accomplish:

  • Execute, optimize, and monitor lower-funnel social and display ad campaigns to drive customer acquisition and engagement.
  • Analyze campaign performance, identify trends, and highlight areas for improvement through data-backed insights.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies focusing on dynamic product ads.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate advertising efforts with eBay’s broader marketing strategies.
  • Use advanced analytics to quantify the business impact of advertising strategies and initiatives.
  • Regularly communicate campaign results, challenges, and opportunities to stakeholders.

  • Advertising Expertise: Strong understanding of social and display advertising platforms, preferably with dynamic product ad experience.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient with data analysis tools and techniques, able to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
  • Project Management: Experienced in leading projects end-to-end in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, analytics, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in advertising campaign operations, particularly with social and display ads.
  • Strong knowledge of analytics and testing methodologies in digital marketing.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships with a team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other social media channels.
  • Experience with data visualization and analysis tools like Excel, Tableau or similar.
